Hopefully July will be cheaper

This has been a very VERY expensive month.
- The month started off with a bang when my brother and I learned how much a traditional funeral service cost. Thankfully we only had to pony up a portion of it (hopefully insurance will kick in the rest) and a nice arrangement of flowers.
- Then we add in all of the extra gas we've used running back and forth to Rhode Island a million times.
- And the clothes I had to buy for the funeral.
- Then somewhere in there, on one of our trips to RI, we noticed the car sputtering and being jerky. So we took it to the dealer (because otherwise the warranty wouldn't pay). $200 in fees later, the dealer diagnosed a spark plug problem. Not covered by warranty. So /nothing/ was.
- So I bought spark plugs and wires, and thankfully Wiley put them in for free. (Bless you!)
- Then we decided that, in light of recent events and the "you never know" factor, it was very important that we visit and spend time with my Jennifer's parents. So we bought the cheapest plane tickets we could find. But still.
- Then I went to the dentist and found out that, due to my crappy dental insurance, we were going to have to pay about $300 for some fillings for me.
- Then there are the tires that we really need to get this weekend, because we've put them off too long and they're starting to get dangerous.
I thought that since the month ends tomorrow, we could at least put a stop to The Great MoneySucking Machine. But no.Today on her short walk home, Jennifer lost a post and crown from a 10-year-old root canal. As in, the tooth fell out. The whole freaking thing, post and all.
Tomorrow, June 30th, she has an emergency dental appointment to get a brand new post and crown. And probably to also put in the post and crown she was supposed to get earlier this month (that we put off due to Exhibits A, B, C, D...), since it's doubtful the dentist is going to let her slink away a second time.
I hate money.
