judecorpVacation so far has been largely uneventful, and I have to say that right now that is exactly how I like it. We got to the airport in plenty of time, our flight left right on time, our flight arrived a few minutes early, our luggage was there with us, and Jen's parents picked us up at the baggage claim. No problem.
So far, the majority of my mood has been STUFFED because we haven't stopped eating food! Yummy mexican food for lunch yesterday, a big cook-out today followed by a little field trip to ColdStone Creamery. Excuse me while I begin to purge.
Last night we crashed and burned at 10pm after watching about 3 hours of Law and Order: SVU (episodes I'd missed before, even, yay!). We woke up this morning and I lounged in the sun reading a book before floating around in the pool for about two hours. Nothing like three hours of lounging in sun to get your morning going. I could go for another float right about now. Maybe I'll get right on that.
The only downer is that I seem to have picked up one of my famous "I stopped running around like a maniac for a little while" colds, and I have congestion and a scratchy throat. My hope is that it disappears before we toodle off to Key West on Tuesday.
Life is good. Jen is beautiful as always.
