I would like to call a mulligan on today, please. Thank you.

Today when Jen and I were heading to the Aquarium, we were at the State Street stop waiting for the Blue Line. I was looking down at the tracks and randomly asked, "I wonder if it really hurts to get hit by a train."

I guess I must /really/ be a basket case because she all of a sudden moved to stand between me and the tracks and said, "Why do you ask?"

Oops.

See, that's what I was thinking. I mean, yeah, if you touched the third rail (the electrical one), forget it. (But I wonder if it hurts to fry?) But I definitely think it would be a quick smoosh if the train was moving quickly... in a station when the train is slowing down, that might be risky. Because it wouldn't hurt much if you died right away, but what if you lived? Urk.
