We did see Bones. I'm not sure if I liked it or not.
On one hand, there are attractive nerdy girls. That's a plus. On the other hand, I don't really like that Angel dude /and/ I found the show totally implausible. Would you REALLY bust into some mucky muck's house and catch him dumping gasoline and then shoot him in the leg? Besides, wouldn't the sparks from the gunshot ignite the gasoline? And what was with all of the sappy dramatic stuff?
It was much more my Jennifer's kind of show than mine. She's more into the CSI stuff and I'm much more the ER type.
But you're right, it DOES have a great spot. Because I /loooove/ House.
I think that the episode of House from last night was better than last season. I was really afraid that they would do something stupid with it now that people are starting to watch it.
I like the tension between House and Selah Ward. I like that they are starting to make the interns into more developed characters. I love the humor in the show. It's highbrow, and yet lowbrow all at once.
The only thing that bugged me like crazy was when they put the prisoner into the MRI, and he was flailing about, and they were able to actually get pictures of the tumor in his brain. That was obviously hokey. If you've ever had an MRI, you know that you gotta be super still and not even breathe hard.
But really, I love the Sherlockian style of the show. I think it's one of the smartest shows on TV.
Was he flailing around or just screaming? It was hard to tell. But yeah, it was a little suspicious that they were able to get good pictures of his adrenal gland with all of that commotion.
But it was LL Cool J, which makes it all better. I love me some LL Cool J.
I'm still on the fence with the Sela Ward character. I hope she gets developed and is more than just a plot device or another woman for House to terrorize. I hope she doesn't fall back in love with him. I hated the stuff at the end of last season when the hot intern was in love with him.
