judecorpOkay, now really - how frickin' HOTTTT is my wife? My goodness, I could just faint from the sheer hotttttness.

thatpatti took fancy-pants portraits of us. (Jen's going to do a painting of Patti's son, Fisher. Barter system - GO!) We've never really had any pictures of us that weren't taken at arm's length while we smooched in front of an oceanscape or whatever, and I really don't like the whole "go to a place, sit down, take boring pictures" thing. So when Patti started /really/ getting schwank with the photography, I knew I was in! I love the way Patti likes to take natural-looking pictures in natural settings.
I'm not a good person to photograph because I am always making goofy faces and I can't stop laughing, and when you add the nervousness of professional photography, well... forget it. So it was nice to have Patti because a) she likes me and wouldn't yell at me for being weird, and b) she does her best work when things aren't too posed.
If anyone is even remotely near Columbus, I wholeheartedly recommendthatpatti for photography. See the results and tell your friends! She's the best!
(p.s. What do you think of the New Girly JudeTM?)

As for retouching, I don't think so. I mean, the photos are great and the reality of it all is that skin is not flawless. I'm not a big fan of "airbrushing" or the way society demands that we wipe away our "imperfections" in order to be beautiful. While I wish I didn't happen to have that gigantic pimple that day, it happens. And you were good enough to catch my other side most times! ;)
