Candy bars and falling stars

Last night I got a chance to talk to a good friend of mine in high school that I hadn't talked to since I graduated 12 years ago. (I /really/ need to get better at that 'staying in touch' thing.) He used to be an executive at DreamWorks Animation and now has left that and gotten himself an agent to pursue a writing career. A movie that he created is supposed to come out in 2008. I am so proud of him!

Doing the 'what's been up since I saw you last' chat is really fun when the people have so many experiences! But it took a lot longer than, "Oh, you know, went to college, got married, work at a company." It was totally worth it!

I stayed up way too late on the phone and Smooch was asleep before I got to bed. She was warm and drowsy and mmm... I do loves me some sleepy Jen. But I'm exhausted after work and babysitting and then mega phonechatting. *snooze*

Wink and I have a playdate tentatively scheduled for when he's in town for Christmas. Color me psyched!

Also, the little girl I babysit for (and her moms) made me a birthday cake and a card. WHEE!!

Yep, that's the guy. He is a really neat person.

I have seen no one from Mount. Not randomly, anyway. Although I did consider dropping in on you the other weekend when I was in Woonsocket but then thought better of it.

Still, we'll be around all weekend emptying the attic. We should get together!
