Call for big-muscled bruisers:

All the calls have been made, and we will definitely have a big, giant dumpster at my dad's house this weekend (the 22nd and 23rd). My hope is to empty all of the junk (and I do mean junk) that has accumulated in the attic and the basement. And maybe the garages. We'll see. Anyway, I could use your help, if you can spare it!
I'll be there pretty much all day Saturday (though I have a birthday party to go to that evening and I know a lot of you have Kriss's party) and Jen and I will be back there on Sunday to do some more. If anyone can help on either of those days, PLEASE let me know.
I'll totally feed you or whatever. And give you my undying gratitude. And all of that. (And directions. I'm sure you'd need directions.) But if you can't do it, I totally understand. No pressure.
xoxo

Re: Stupid question.
Date: 2005-10-19 03:41 pm (UTC)They also do that to help people move. I learned this in Missouri...that most fire departments' firefighters don't make much $$ and like to help people move carp. I had friends who used them to help pack their moving truck. My NewRoommate's parents used them in Northern Ohio to help them load a washer/dryer.
That might be a possiblity for you, if you find that it's just too much.
BTW, wish I were close enough to help.
