I fell asleep from about 8pm until about 10pm because my ibuprofen had worn off a few hours before and I had that WAH-WAH-WAH head pounding thing going on. (I don't like taking medication like, at all, but I had to take some ibuprofen this morning before work at around 8am and by 8pm I definitely needed some more.) I was also cold, which meant my temperature had popped up a little bit.

I sat up at about 10:15 because Emmy called, and we chatted for about 45 minutes and at that point I became wIrEd. Jen had put the lights on the tree while I was sleeping and I was jonesing to put the ornaments on but she wanted to go to bed. I conned her into putting ornaments on for 15 minutes and then I promptly finished them all myself. And then slid the tree into position. And then swept up all the pine needles. And fixed up the living room. And so on.

Now it's nearly 1:30am and I'm still wide awake. I also have the hiccups which doesn't really help that sleepy feeling along. Drat! I'm not the sort of person who can sleep in (unless it's not the tiniest bit sunny - is it supposed to be sunny?) so that doesn't really bode well for tomorrow. Poo.

I have to make sure I'm conscious enough at 10am to try to score some Billy Joel tickets! Wheeeeee!
