Zoolander rocks. Rocks hard. binkiegirl was kind of bummed out so I dragged her butt out of bed and made her go see it with me. My goodness, I am still laughing.

And then she wanted the soundtrack right away, so we went to Virgin and of course I had to break my "no spending money" rules and bought Dar Williams's "Out There Live." I'm listening to it now. It's wonderful. Mmm.

Princess was online when I got home and we had a few minutes of simultaneous and enthusiastic validation before she ran off with Kir and Tony for drinks. And Daniel Larusso is online too, YAY!

My goal is to go to bed early tonight so I can get up early tomorrow and finish my essays for school. We'll see if I achieve it.

I [heart] Dar. She is so awesome. This album makes me want to see her again SOOO badly. She is so adorable. *grin*

Bink, I'm making the "Magnum" at you right now. And I invented the piano tie - you can't take that away from me! I drank WAAAAY too much Cherry Icee. Bounce bounce bounce!

Aaah, the life of a folk music loving graduate student.

I did one more essay. I have one left. I'm debating putting it off until I get to the internship - I have 2 hours between clients this afternoon.

New bed is niiiiice. We were both reading in bed last night and I didn't have to survive t's elbow poking me in the ribs! Not to mention that although my back hurt lots and lots before I slept,it's only a bit achy now. (After all the furniture moving and floor scrubbing, I'm really surprised it's only a little achy!).

Love the bed. LOVE THE BED.

Now we just have to get the landlady to take away the old one. It has a really odd odor coming from the box springs -- presumably the source of "that strange smell" i'd been complaining about for months that we'd never been able to locate. It's a moldy smell. :( My allergies were SO much happier today, even t felt better for not having been in the same room with that thing.

So that piece of junk has got to go! I'm going to harass the landlady soundly today.
