Oh, American Idol, how I love thee even though my IQ drops percentage points noticeably with each passing episode. I /am/ the American Lowest Common Denominator when it comes to television, but oh, the Ace Young! The Mandisa! The Pickler!

So I've decided that I /adore/ Mandisa and Pickler, but I definitely have the hots for Ace. I mean, the full-blown hots. I want to make out with him. I think that grossed Lisa out a little bit.

Yes! Lisa (buddhafly4224) was nice enough to come to the D-O-T to watch American Idol with me, which was awesome - I felt much less loserish and more social. Besides, I never see her. So, yay! (Thanks, Lisa.)

p.s. Today I got McDonald's on the way home from the car fiasco because I was starving and didn't get to eat lunch. I feel so dirty.

Ace schmace. Chris is where it's at!

But oh! There are three peeps from NC in it this year. NC always has a good showing ... Fantasia, Clay, a bunch of other people. I generally like to pull for the home team which is why I am /so/ glad that Chris is from NC.

Oh, I like Chris, too. He has a fantastic personality. But when it comes to his performances, they're too similar for me. drainbead calls him a one-trick pony and I'm inclined to agree, but then buddhafly4224 said he sounded like one of those bands like Creed and THAT hit the nail on the head for me... because those bands always sound exactly the same in every song.

So he's got a killer personality and I'd be okay if he won, but I'd like to see him expand a little. And he's just not as pretty as Ace. (I'm not saying Ace has the most talent, I just want to do it with him.)

Although Ace is a hottie, I love Chris. I love his voice and his facial hair. Wow. He could be my one trick pony! :D
