Holy crap on a crap cracker!
Guess whose insurance company agreed to pay for all IUIs and monitoring and ultrasounds and bloodwork and everything! Quick, guess!
MINE!
I don't know how he did it, but my Boston IVF doctor stayed true to his word and put through the claim even though he said they would deny it, so that I could go through the appeals process and try to get stuff done. I guess he's got all of the magic words and is also the best doctor ever, because the office called me today (I thought they'd forgotten about me) and said they have pre-approved 24 office visits and all procedures! WOW!
In other news, Fertility Friend predicted that I would start my period today based on where it interpreted my ovulation. I actually predicted my ovulation a day later than FF, but whatever. And I'm actually starting to cramp and spot a little bit today (which means I should start tomorrow or Friday). Which means I probably actually really did ovulate all on my own on CD21 or CD22!
Of course, if I /do/ start tomorrow or Friday, I'm totally hosed as far as ovulating while in New Orleans... which means I'll probably end up taking Provera when I get back and having two periods this month. (Yuck.)
BUT, I can have all of the expensive monitoring and everything with my IUIs because WE DON'T HAVE TO PAY!!!!!!!
