She was in the convent and given the chance at higher education as a result. That same higher education opened her eyes to the other teachings not in the good book.
Open eyes caused her to leave the convent, eventually meet my father, and here I am. I have never set foot in a church for a service other than someone elses wedding, and maybe a baptisim for myself (which would have been I think to please my grandmother and viewed has no harm by all others).
