Had a hell of a time with [livejournal.com profile] odd_doggy dog and [livejournal.com profile] pileofsassy tonight, but boy am I exhausted. It's just that I don't usually go out on a school night, and I certainly don't usually drive down to Providence during the week. But it was so, so worth it. They are both just totally fabu people that I want to hang out with for a million years.

Dog came here and we ate dinner together (her take out and my leftover sloppy joes) before I drove us down to Providence. Goat was spending a few days with a woman who works at this coffee shop in the PVD, so we met them there. Good times, good times. We took pictures of our "down theres" and our boobs! My picture of Goat's boobs looks like a butt. I'll have to upload it sometime.

It's just so good to be able to connect with some people. They picked out sperm donors for me and we ogled the hot-ass barista. YUM. We laughed and were totally inappropriate and thoroughly disrupted the poetry reading unintentionally.

It's nice to be myself, to be the vibrant, obnoxious person I really am inside. I feel so greyed and muted most days, so it was a pleasant change. Thank you, Dog and Goat, for bringing in the color.

Day Three of Clomid, still no real side effects, which is nice. I'm having some random feelings in my guts and sometimes I'm not sure if it's in my ovaries or, well, if it's gas or something. I hope it's working! I peed on a stick for my monitor for the first time ever this morning. That was cool - it works, which is nice.

My temps have been running a little high the last couple of days. I wonder if that's the Clomid or if it's just my usual rocky mountains.

Good to hear the clomid is not giving you too much grief. I know for some it can be a real bugger.

I have been /very/ fortunate with medication side effects. I know a lot of people go through hell on Metformin, too, but I just take it like normal, no problems.

So yeah, I'm lucky.

I've been pretty lucky too. I'm on week two of lupron again and nothing but more tired then usual. Lupron gives some women hell. Most of the stims I did fine with ... except for the fact I developed OHSS after my egg retrieval.

OHSS was awful. I think the worst was having it during the 2WW and being on bedrest with nothing else to think about. Just drove myself bonkers.
