Yesterday, when I was driving to work I was listening to the morning show on "The New 97.1" with "Paul and Val" (whoever they are). It infuriated me! They were cracking "jokes" about the bombings. They referred to Kabul as "Kaboom" and "Kaput," and actually used the term "Ashcanistan." I about threw up. My goodness, I was sickened by these people.

We, as a nation, were appalled when the short footage of people cheering on 11 September was looped over and over and over. But what are we doing right now? We're making fun of Afghan deaths. We're cheering Afghan destruction.

I wrote to the station manager, to say I was horrified. I am still reeling about it. These people sicken me.
