1. It is supposed to be below freezing tonight and our heater is on the fritz again. It got fixed right before vacation and we didn't have a chance to test it out before we left (and it was really warm then)... now I wish we had. We have no heat and it's 60° in here. Taking a shower tomorrow is going to SUCK.

2. I have to give myself an injection in about half an hour and I am SO NERVOUS about it. Ugh. I wish I could just get some hot nurse to give it to me.

3. I didn't see yesterday's AI so I don't know how the performances went, but I'm sad to see Mandisa go. I really liked her.

Good luck with the injection. Is it in your arm or what? With an actual needle?

I did it in my belly, and yes, with an actual syringe. It actually wasn't that bad at all - it was a teeny weeny needle and my belly is flabby enough that I didn't really feel it. No problem, really.

I'm nervous, though, because this morning I had a Peak on my monitor and I won't be doing my IUI until tomorrow morning. I know the monitor reads the LH surge and that the hCG trigger works the same way, so it makes sense that I have the peak... I just don't want to miss ovulation.

Yeah I don't blame you. I'm surprised they didn't do the injection today. I'm sure they know what they are doing though :) Usually when I get a peak reading it means I'll ovulate the next day. Maybe since they planned it at 10pm then they will get it right before you ovulate!

Yeah, since I got the Peak today I will hopefully ovulate tomorrow... which would be fine since I am getting inseminated tomorrow. I just hope I'm not one of those freak people who ovulates sooner after the LH surge or whatever. (I'm new to this whole ovulate thing.) If my temp tomorrow is high I'm going to flip out!

AI was sucktacular. Taylor was so awful. Even the good ones were mediocre at best. Katharine's song was my favorite.

I don't know if it was separated into top, middle, and bottom, or just not, not, and maybe not.

I'm guessing Queen week is going to be comedy gold, most of it uninentional.
