QLAB due to headache

• On our way back from the grandparents', we were just getting into Boston proper when the sky totally blacked and we got a flash hail storm, complete with lightning. It was awesome. And it reminded me of Columbus.


• I sure do miss the storms in Columbus.


• My chart is really messing with me right now. It's starting to look triphasic, and even Fertility Friend thinks so, which is making me ridiculously hopeful even though I got a BFN (big fat negative) yesterday. Today I have a killer headache which has brought dizziness and nausea with it, which only helps fuel this optimism. I hope it's not setting us up for a letdown.


• Jen bought me The Sims Party Pack for Mac since I can't use my PC Sims disks on the laptop. She is so sweet! The Sims is practically the only video game I like.


• In other GOOD NEWS OF THE NERDY KIND, guess who is going to see American Idol in Concert? Ha ha, that would be ME, because The Awesome Lisa (buddhafly4224) knows I'm lame enough loves me enough to ask me to accompany her this summer. She got tickets for her birthday. I <3 Lisa!


• Also, I am in my jammies and am going to install The Sims now. Yay!

Well, I'm not sure how triphasic my temps really are. I've been getting REALLY crappy sleep. Like, wake up every two hours sleep. This morning I did a little experiment and I took my temp one of the many times I woke up (5am) instead of the more usual time that I woke up (6:15am). At 5, my temp was 98.18 and at 6:15 it was 98.47. So I'm thinking my inflated temps are because of these 4am and 5am wake-ups.

I took a CBE test just now because I am ridiculous and like to fool myself into believing that the $tree tests are just out to get me. I think I am imagining the thinnest, faintest little line. I am ridiculous.

ah, yes, i've seen LOTS of those signs - one negative cycle i convinced myself that i must have gotten a bum lot (yes, lot) of tests because i just FELT it.

i KNOW - i'm not exactly sunny! but it always really pissed me off when i was feeling all these really hard emotions and someone would say, "Oh, just keep positive! wheee! you'll get pregnant! everything will be fine!"

fertility issues are hard. they suck the big one. until you get a positive (and i DO think you WILL), it's just so hard, and i want to validate that!

and yes, i'd love to work with you and see your eventual baby!

I do hope you're right and I do get a positive HPT someday (and keep it). And I hope it happens soon, because I /really/ don't want my only option to be IVF.

Sorry for the headache.. I know how those can be sometimes. I have had a small headache for the past 2 weeks.. I think it is due to stress of all the crap happening..

I don't get too many headaches. I am very lucky. I don't think I got my first headache ever until college. Like I said, lucky.

But yeah, it seems to have mostly gone away now, along with the nausea and the dizziness. I think a trip to Friendly's to eat ice cream sundaes helped with that.

I want to go to sleep for a million years.

I sure hope you get a positive. Remember too that those cheap tests sometimes don't show positives early like I discovered.

I love the Sims too! I just got the night life one. I haven't had much time to play it yet though. I want to buy a laptop when I have enough money saved up.

I got another BFN this morning on another $tree. I suppose it /could/ be a false negative but I'm not really holding out hope. I have my beta tomorrow and I will know for sure then. I'm starting to think my high high temps are because I have been getting such crappy sleep - I wake up every 2 hours or so, roll over, look at the clock, try to go back to sleep. So who knows how accurate the temps are.

I didn't play the Sims for a long time. I'm not one of those people who can spend a lot of time on a video game, but I do like to create the people. My new set has "Hot Date" on it which I think will be fun to try out!

I'm sorry you got another negative. Trust me I know how hard it is to go through this. If you need to talk or whatever just let me know. You're right - not getting the 4 hours of sleep does mess up the temps. Hang in there.

I keep waking up earlier and earlier. The first month I charted, I woke up religiously at 7am. Then 6am for the next cycle and part of the next. Now it's inching a lot closer to 5am. WTF is up with that??!?!?!

I did the same thing. I think it's because you know you're going to wake up and temp & stress about it a little so you don't sleep as well and wake up earlier or something.

I'm sure the bed bugs thing isn't helping either. Although I think most of it is due to it getting light out earlier and earlier. The sun is coming up sometime around 5:30am and I think that might be what is waking me up.

After June 21st the days will get a little shorter and maybe I will start sleeping later. We'll see!
