This weather makes me want to sleep all day, not get up early, go to the doctor, and then run to the grandparents'. But aah well.

Jen and I have plans to earnestly clean our place in anticipation of my arriving mother. We started with a bang on Friday night and really got things done - Jen reorganized our storage closet so we could put more stuff in there, and I cleaned the bathroom like woah. I moved some stuff around in the kitchen and made a list of everything we needed to do. Then we collapsed for the evening.

Yesterday we intended to do more stuff but it did not happen. Jen did the cat boxes and that was it. We ended up spending longer than expected at Target, then went to eeka and Molly's wedding, then stopped by Shani's to say hi to people, and then went home and fell asleep ridiculously early. No cleaning.

We have SO MUCH TO DO tonight after Grandma's! EEK!

Haha! My mother is coming to visit next weekend and I'm making cleaning lists too! I mean, we are pretty neat and tidy around here but we're not at the "mom level" of clean and tidy ;-P~

Same here. We keep a clean house, but it is not "houseguest clean." As it is there is some ickiness that I think is going to stick around because I am totally burned out.
