Kind of random

Nothing stops my heart more than picking up my cell phone on a random weekday evening and seeing that I missed a call from my grandparents. It's not that I don't like to talk with them, more that they never call and I always fear the worst. This did not happen before I got a call from my grandmother last summer on a weekday afternoon and I did not take the call as I was in an assessment - and it was the call about my dad being in the hospital. Now I'm always paranoid that they're calling to report some tragic news. They're 84 and almost 89, so it's not unreasonable.

I was yawning and dragging ass all day today thanks to waking up at 6am. Those extra two hours of sleep in the morning really make a difference, and Lefty Tonsil isn't helping. I would like him to stop being swollen soon, especially since my usual Lefty remedy (200mg ibuprofen) is off-limits.

My boobs (nipples really) are still super sensitive. From a few other people online, I'm starting to think that this is due to Follistim, which is sad because of course I was hoping it meant something else. But hey, I'm still feeling positive about this cycle and Dave Navarro's super sperm.

Which reminds me, Dave Navarro was wearing arm covers tonight on Rockstar: Supernova and of course that both cracked me up and made me think of photodork. He's so cute and so, so flamboyant. (Dave, that is. I don't know what photodork looks like!)

We closed on Dad's house today (finally) and our path to becoming Western Mass homo-owners is that much closer to becoming a reality. I am so excited to get out of town and buy a groovy house in the coun-traaaay!

I need to eat more vegetables. Stat!

Oh, they were fine. It was actually a call about the house closing, which I kind of realized right before I called back but was still nervous.

So, phew. I don't like those surprise calls.

i totally hear you on the random phone calls... anytime i have a "personal" call at work i automatically assume some loved one is dead or injured; no matter how many times it happens, i assume the worst.

hopefully this cycle *is* different! you are PUPO:) (Pregnant Until Proven Otherwise!)

and yeah!! on selling your dad's house! one step closer to your dream! (although i can understand that it must be bittersweet that your dream is possible because of a major loss.)

Could be the follistim - which tells you follistim had an effect on your body - which is good. And even if it is the follistim that does not mean you're not pregnant - you know.

Well yeah, Follistim definitely worked better than Clomid, that's for sure. And even though it was more challenging to take shots while out rather than take pills, it was so worth it for the faster and better response. I am a believer!

Lots of people get pregnant on their first round of injects. I would like to be one of those people but if we have to try again, so be it.

No advice. I didn't even go. I signed over power of attorney to our lawyer because we tried to close three times and I didn't want to take time off work.

We love the Northampton area very much and want to raise our family there. We'd ideally like to buy a house in Easthampton or Florence (a little more affordable), but are a bit flexible.

I see you are looking to relocate to Massachusetts. Feel free to e-mail me (judecorp at gmail) with any questions you have about the area. We live in Boston right now and it is incredibly expensive, but hey, it's workable if it's where you want to be.
