Well, holy numbers, Batman! I don't know how Dave does it, but even the nurse practitioner who did today's IUI said she doesn't usually see these kinds of numbers from a frozen donor.

Total sperm = 62 million/mL
%motile = 59%
Total motile = 20 million/0.5mL (they use 0.5 for IUIs)
Forward progression = 3 out of 4

HOLY CRAP, 20 MILLION TOTAL MOTILE!

I actually seriously geeked out when I signed the report because it was written in scientific notation (20 x 10⁶), but hey.

In other news, I woke up sick. Like "feel like I was hit by a train" sick. I'm pretty sure I am running a low-grade fever, and I had/have a lot of body aches and a headache. I ended up breaking down and taking 2 extra strength tylenol at about 2:30 and feel manageable, but ugh. I am SICK. I hope this doesn't eff with our chances.

Yeah, we have been REALLY lucky with this donor in terms of numbers. We bought him out completely, but he only had 4 samples left. We just used our last one, so if this cycle doesn't work, we need to buy someone else. I'm scared he won't be as good as my man Dave!

Yeah, we had 19mil total motile today, so that's great! Also, a really nice OB/GYN did my IUI this morning and she was the best ever. I didn't feel a thing. I think she was just filling in, though, because I've never seen her before.
