Meatloaf, meatloaf, double beatloaf!

I am trying the art that is making meatloaf for the first time. Turkey meatloaf, that is. It involved squishing my hand through raw meat which is SO not anywhere near my Top, say, 100894398792837 List. But for whatever reason, every time I saw the ground turkey in the freezer I got this weird thought about trying to make a meatloaf. I have already learned things that I would do differently and I haven't even tried the meatloaf yet! Whoops!
I also probably shouldn't have attempted a dinner that took at least 15 minutes to prepare (including defrosting said turkey) and 60+ minutes to bake when I have been getting "hungry heartburn" on and off for the last two or three days. I am currently sitting here with that empty stomach heartburn feeling just /waiting/ and salivating for that timer to go off. Which reminds me, I should heat up a vegetable really quick. (I already mashed some potatoes, the good way - with a hand masher.)
Hopefully there will be some yummy meatloaf and potatoes left over for when Jen comes home tomorrow. I'm sure it would have been better to have cooked fresh and hot meatloaf when she arrived home but I wasn't thinking. Well, I think I was thinking through my stomach.
Want. Food. NOW.
ETA: It was YOM.
