Holy crap, I laughed so hard at Book Club that I seriously thought I was going to pee my pants on Coworker Krissie's couch. Somehow we stopped talking about the book (too depressing) and some of the girls ended up talking about totally crazy shit. I never knew that Coworker Sarah does not wear underwear when she wears skirts! (I am still in major shock and awe over this.) And Coworker Annie had us rolling on the floor with the Tale of the Latino Thong Cutter.

I don't think I'll particularly miss my job but there is no way I will ever find a more lively, funny workplace. They are all such top-notch people and while some of their talk is a little too "girlfriends" for me (I am still not used to having a bunch of girlfriends, let alone straight girlfriends), they are some of the most enjoyable and alive people I have ever met. Such a good time.

And Coworker Krissie made sure that her baked ziti had no onions in it! And she made a separate pile of bruschetta with no onions just for me! That is LOVE, people!

Beta today was 967. It's 19dpo. That's a doubling time of 63.32 hours. The nurse of course said everything was great (they are so Pollyanna over there) but I would be lying if I said I didn't wish it was higher. I was expecting 1000-1100 today for sure. It's under 72 so I am /trying/ not to stress about it. They are not an exact science and I can't get hung up on numbers. But still.

Every day that I don't bleed is another day that I am still knocked up, and I am determined to enjoy it.

When do you have another check up? And it did double, and it was within the time line -- so enjoy it! Have a cup of herbal tea, and consider the name "Gertrude" for a girl -- come on, "gertie" would be adorable. ;)

I love that you have another Wonder Woman PEZ dispenser icon! I love my WW PEZ dispenser! (I wrote a poem for it once.)

And yes, I am trying to be all chill and stuff. I am just not very good at chilling and overanalyze EVERYTHING. Case in point - I have to carry stuff for my job (big bags of toys, toddlers) and now I'm like, "Maybe my numbers aren't going up because I have to carry all this crap!" I need to STOP. I go in for my first ultrasound next Tuesday.

We are fairly decided on names, but if we change our minds... nah, I can't see myself with a Gert unless she is 80 years old! :)

I am working hard to stop stressing. It may not look like it, but I am.

That is a great beta for 19dpo... Hang in there and enjoy. From my short experience with it all, being pregnant feels f***ing amazing.

It's kind of wild, thinking that there might be a real living person inside my body. Little person! In my body!

The number is good for 19dpo on its own, yes. I just REALLY wish I'd had a shorter doubling time.

There's nothing I can do about it, so I'm going to go with it but it is definitely in the back of my mind.

I think that's a great number. My betas were as follows:

14DPO - 126
16DPO - 255
18DPO - 658

I don't know what the doubling time was for mine, but I think your number is just fine. :) I know how the worry creeps in ... I'm neurotic still even though I've past most of the worrisome markers.

Your doubling time for both betas is just under 48 hours. All of your numbers doubled every two days.

Mine are not doing that. :(
