It's 2007, yo!

Some things never change. Although my grandmother attempted to rub my belly this afternoon and that was just... odd. And she just didn't want to hear the fact that the baby was not at all where she was rubbing. ("No, Grandma, that's fat.")

I wish I had more to say. Maybe tomorrow when I don't feel quite so maudlin. I am just the Queen of Emotions these days.

My hair dresser has a big old prego belly. I wanted to rub on it so much. But I haven't been going to her long enough to do that so i resisted. I love me some prego bellies.

It doesn't bother me at all to have people rub my belly, but because I am mainly sticking out at the top that is where they rub the most. I don't have the heart to tell them they are showing affection to my small intestine since the top of the uterus is about 1" above my belly button! I'm so very glad your pregnancy is still ticking along OK and we will be new mummies together!

My baby is low in the gut, well below my belly button and has only recently risen above the hairline (and even then, not by more than an inch). So no one, least of all Grandma, should be sticking any hands down there! :)

It always has baffled me why people seem to feel the need to do that. I mean, family is one thing, really, but complete strangers did it to me! I had one aunt I hardly ever saw corner me at a family gathering, and rub my belly and pray over it, without so much as a 'do y'mind?'.

Belly rubbing aside, Happy New Year to you all! =)

I wish I had an answer for you. I would NEVER randomly touch someone, even family. Heck, I've never touched a pregnant woman's belly in my entire life! (I'm kind of scared of pregnant ladies.)

Happy New Year!

Why is your subject annoying me like it's the line of a song or a movie that I can't quite spit out??

It's that "Happy Christmas" song.

So this is Christmas, and what have you done...
