Lasagne!

Jen made really yummy lasagne for dinner tonight and we had her friend Joanna over. But Jen made about 8734612837637842 pounds of lasagne and it is all over the house! We have 4 containers of lasagne in the fridge and two in the freezer and we are going to be eating lasagne forever. Does anyone want any lasagne?

Also, I'm not sure but I think I might have felt the baby move last night and today at work. But it could have been something else, so I'll have to wait and see.

I'm also having all kinds of wacky aches and pains in the belly. It's so weird to start feeling your uterus after not feeling it for years and years. I mean, it used to just BE there and now it's always causing some kind of pressure or cramp or tugging or something.

But now the belly is just full of lasagne.

Just wait until that lasagna starts giving you heartburn. Here come the tums ...

Pretty much everything gives me heartburn. But I'm scared of antacids, so I usually have milk.

I hope it starts happening more, or else I'll have to think it was a fluke!

Feeling the baby move was quite possibly one of the best parts of being preggo - though towards the end they can pack quite the punch! Enjoy the little flutters! :)

It's not hard to make just time consuming and the initial cost is expensive but it lasts for multiple meals.

I make a homemade sauce - the hardest part but not hard at all.

The rest is just layering pasta, sauce, ricotta with whatever you want, mozzarella cheese (and other cheese if you want) in a big enough pan. My original one went to someone's house when they borrowed it just before we moved;) So I just bought a big disposable pasta pan last night. It made the lasagna not as deep but definitely wider/longer so I ran out of sauce and mozzarella before I was done and had to use some jarred sauce to finish the last layer. So it looked much bigger but really wasn't:)

You want the recipe/directions for making lasagna? I took your statement above as a question even though it had no ?.

Oh, you could totally do it. Trust me. It's just time intensive, not hard!

I just wish it was more regular. I mean, I'm sure it will happen more often as time goes on but I hate always wondering, "Was that it?" and begging it to happen again! :)
