If you talk to him again, ask him if he is still in touch with Ted Sherarts at St. Cloud State. I <3 the Sherarts (Sheratses?) SO much! LaVona and I were friends back when I was the newsmaster at lyrics.ch and she introduced me to The Last Time I Wore a Dress when I was going through a rough time with gender identity.

Yes, well, no, I didn't like what /happened/ in the book but it certainly is an important life tale to have told, and interesting. Also I wasn't aware she later changed her name.
