It's a Girl!

Well, it's officially official. Two ultrasounds a month apart and not a stick-out bit in sight. (Sorry, guys!) The tech said that if she said she wasn't sure then, she was pretty much sure now. Other than that, the heart and spine (the two things they "couldn't see well" at the last scan) looked perfectly fine, and for the first time, I got a follow-up appointment /without/ an ultrasound. (Amazing.)

So without further ado, my Jennifer and I would like to introduce teh internets to our little daughter, August Ruth!

It's a good thing *I* like pink, because it's likely all we'll see for a while.

I am looking forward to a couple of froo-froo dresses. It's the later years when Jen's mom starts buying play makeup and little purses and god knows what else when I will get the major twitches.

Besides, you all had girls and we couldn't just break the pattern!

You can look for her to join the world of the breathing in early July.

As for the last name, she'll be rockin' mine. So will Jen, actually, once she puts in all of the name change paperwork. Jen's last name will become the kid's second middle name.
