You don't know me -- I'm a friend of Karen's. But I have to telll you that I've had a rough week and the very word "pimptacular" made my whole day. I'm really really hoping that it's kind of a maroon-wine kind of color 'cause somehow that's how I'm picturing it. I will almost be disappointed if you post a picture and it's like gray or something.

BTW, been lurking for a while (sorry if that creeps you out). Congrats on the pregnancy -- you really are in the home stretch. Girls are cool. I have a daughter. (Boys are cool too -- I have two sons as well) I'm sure you feel like you've been pregnant for ten years, but the remaining weeks will go so fast and soon you two will be holding your precious girl in your arms.

Thanks for making my day a little more pimptacular. I'm REALLY going to try to work that into conversation somehow.

I am glad that you got some enjoyment out of my pimptacular existence. Rough weeks are no fun and sometimes you just need a little ridiculousness to make it through.

Sadly, the pimp suit is black. While it is not maroon, it is better than grey. Someday I will pull it out again for photos. We missed our chance.

Damn...well, I hope it's shiny shimmery black. Really velour is so awesome no matter what the color. Who thought of it do you suppose??? Like, "Nah, velvet's too nice. We REALLY need something synthetic here."

But could you consider finding a maroon one? You could wear it after the baby's born if you have an especially fugly day. Not that I'm saying you WILL have a fugly day, mind you. Maybe you could just wear it for your public.
