the 15th is supposed to be my last day but i have so much left over vacation time (cause i never ever use it!) that i am done this thursday!!!!! i am sooooo ready! of course next year i'll be working right up to the 15th since i will have used ALL my vacation time to get paid for a portion of my maternity leave,

Well, it sneaked up on me because I am taking my last two weeks of work as sick time and personal time! So I was supposed to work two more weeks! What a nice surprise! :)

Mine's Friday. Ugh. I don't want to go so early! Ugh! But my feet... are in poor poor shape. He said I really need to go on leave. I've got to get all the papers for him to sign, and talk to the Softlines manager as well as the store manager. Fun, fun. *sigh*

Well, my TECHNICAL last day of work is June 29. And I could totally go straight through, at least how I'm feeling now. But I recently learned that I have two weeks of leave that are "use it or lose it" and I really don't want to lose it. So I'm using it. Starting June 18.

It would be different if it were paid. But... it's not. And I just don't like not working. Makes me feel so laaaaazy. I mean, I would have no problem staying at home with the baby, but then I'd have something to do. Take care of my child. Right now, I don't even know if he wants me up and about to clean my house. Ugh.

It also took me quite a while to get this job. I've been living in the area for about 2 years... and finally someone gave me a chance. I just... I don't know. I shouldn't feel bad about it... it's not like it's my choice or anything. And I do care about Julia more than Walmart.

Yeah, well, Canada Schmanada. (Seriously, though, I think it's awesome that you get so much leave.)

I get the two weeks at the end of June paid (because I have some sick and personal time), but then I don't see another cent until I find another job sometime. When? When the money runs out, I guess.
