listen, i haven't been on lj much, but for what it's worth i read august's birth story (great name, btw, but maybe i'm biased, for i'm an august baby), and have been following the saga of the wanna-be august and the real, actual august for the last few years .... and i just want to say: You Guys Are My Heroes!

she is beautiful and you guys are beautiful and i really admire you for what you've gone through and accomplished.

and as for the actual birth, my sister had a midwife with her first baby and has another with soon-to-be-born baby #2 and she says it's the greatest. and i believe her.

so anyway. i'm proud of you guys ... and so overflowingly happy for you all!
