We're not supposed to put her flat on her back but I just wanted her to have some play time for a minute while I snapped a picture.

She's so dang cute.

Any chance that if you asked the doc you'd be allowed to mix the antacid meds with milik/formula to make this easier on you both?

Has to be given ~20 minutes before she eats, sadly.

What a cutie!

Sorry to hear about the reflux... I swear, I'm starting to think we had the same baby! What meds is she on? We were SO happy at almost a year when we found he'd outgrown it... though we were lucky and had already knocked down his meds to a one-a-day dose... but the early meds were such a pain to give...

I suppose I'm basically saying "hang in there, it'll get better!"... and until then, well, at least your baby is absolutely adorable!

I think we have had the same postpartum experience, anyway! And hey, if my kid turns out as cute as your kid, it's all worth it. :)

I'm sure we'll get into a routine of the meds and it will be old hat, but it's so scary to see my kid's name on a prescription bottle. Poor little punk!!

She's taking generic tagamet liquid, 0.6mL x 4. So far we're doing it around 12, 6, 12, 6... because we're pseudo awake at most of those times. ;) I can't wait until we can taper down.

Acid reflux, yet another way in which she resembles Jen rather than me!

We have to give her the acid med 20 minutes before she eats, so we can't do the bottle trick. And if we don't time it right, she's starving and those 20 minutes are like TORTURE for her. Poor girl!

Aww... poor Gus. Emma is still on prevacid once daily and she still has projectile puke and all the AR fun at almost 6 months. Lovely, eh??

The Reflux is a lonely child she's waiting by the park
The Reflux is in charge of finding treasure in the dark
and watching over lucky clover isn't that bizarre
Every little thing the reflux does leaves you answered with a question mark

Aww, that happened to my friend who had a baby in May, she's on baby zantax. The one bright side to this was that the baby was much less colicky after she started the medicine. Has August been more comfortable with the medicine?
