Hair photos

Here is the current hairdo, except that you have to imagine that the shaved part is a lot longer now, maybe an inch or more, and is sticking out in funny ways:

(Note: This is not an attractive photo. Also, the baby is so small. Also also, Jen is making a weird face. Also also also, I had gotten my head shaved maybe 2 days before, and that was the last time it was done. And that was... what? 8 weeks ago?)
Here is a picture from when I buzzed my head last time:

(Note: Best faces ever. Also, I do not have a funny-shaped head, which is nice.)
Good enough?

Date: 2007-09-19 01:12 am (UTC)I'd say that the baby is hot too, except then I'd be saying a baby is hot, and just...no.

Date: 2007-09-19 01:23 am (UTC)Or you could just say "fuck it!" and shave the whole thing and start over. I like the long in the front on you though, that's why I'm hesitating to just say shave it even though that will probably work best.

Date: 2007-09-19 02:38 pm (UTC)I'm not sure who this "vlindenhauer" character is, but I suspect someone reminiscent of "Dark Overlord".
Regrettably, I believe we left off with a "high maintenance" do.
Now that you have family issues, and are far away, you're in a bit of a bind.
... and there's no way I can make it to the nh area anytime soon ...
so ...
to buzz or not to buzz
Firstly I think we should remember that there is a difference 'tween buzz and shave. The words have been mixed up for sometime now. Although shaving would be cool, the maintenance on chrome-domed-ness is extreme (and a little weird). A buzzcut with the intention of "letting it grow out" is "a" solution. However, you'd be in a different "pickle"-as it were-(or would be) soon enough.
I say let it go.
Let it grow.
Just push or smooth the hair back. Hats, rags, grease, baby-goo ...
Your in nh, there are many "sets" representing ... I propose the hippy cult for now.
Yes, let it go, let it grow. And worry no more about the hair for some time to come.
Find a solution to just push it back and down (hats, rags, clips, grease) so that you can concentrate on everything else life is offering.

Date: 2007-09-19 08:06 pm (UTC)The hair, it is like crabgrass. It is sticking up every which way and it is driving me mad! In a month or so I need to start actively looking for jobs and I have no idea how I am going to do this with bushbaby hair. Ugh.
How could I let you talk me into a high maintenance 'do when I was getting a "haircut for two"? You are a persuasive sort of Overlord, I imagine.
HELP!

Date: 2007-09-20 11:29 am (UTC)I believe I wrote nh referring to the Northampton area. I originally wrote NH, but in capitals I feared the worst ... and regrettably that's what transpired. Then again you may not even live in Northampton but only near it ... my apologies on that "mix up".
And, I'm sure at the time the "haircut for two" was the perfect solution --- at the time.
Be these cases as they may, I still side with the growing out. Just push that stuff back and down. Training it as you push it down and back as it grows.
In the meantime I'll pray.
