Jen got me a Nintendo DS for my birthday. It's cute. It's fun!

But I worry that I will never have time to use it. Or that the punk will puke on it. Or that I will never be able to afford any new games. (She got me one of the Brain Age games.)

Speaking of the punk, we took her for weight checks the last two Tuesdays because she had been really spitting up a lot and had slowed her eating for a little while.

Last Tuesday: 13lb 1oz
Today: 13lb 12oz

Woah, big baby! I guess feeding her in her sleep is working. :)

I am such a nerd. And so is Hope. I am not surprised she has a Brain Age game. Apparently you can DS wirelessly through your router. I'm not sure how that works but it sounds nerdy.

I think I need MySims.

hope CHOSE the pink one, in part because she liked the irony. mmmm, but i bet red is purty. i'm pretty sure nerdy gay friend stacey knows how to do the wireless DS thing. hope hasn't done it, but you two definitely need to try it out! then maybe you can play MySims together (you know, just in case you get it or something....) and have nerdy bliss.

If I got MySims, I would probably start neglecting my (large) child. That could be bad.

I had to hide my Sims2 disc when we were moving because I kept playing Sims2 and not packing anything. Of course, now I don't even know where it is!

Mmm, nerdy bliss. Much better (currently) than baseball hell.

Yeah, it's super fun. Apparently there is an expansion called "Night Life" or something and you can turn Sims into vampires!!

i do have a DS and was only able to configure the wifi using my new zelda game. i think they only work DS to DS apart from certain games. i really have no idea, though.

Hmmm, the only two I have are "Animal Crossing" and "Race Driver: Create and Race", which I just got yesterday and is hella hard. But there's a ton of them out now:

I've heard great things about Clubhouse Games, which is just a bunch of board & card games you can play online with people or by yourself. The good thing about those games is that you can just play for 5 or 10 minutes at a time and not have to commit too much time that you don't have :).
