Sleepy rainy day

This weather kind of sucks for me personally, but my kid is currently ROCKING the morning nap!

Usually her first nap of the day is about 45 minutes. So far, she has been sleeping for an hour fifteen!

That's great! Ben's morning nap is usually pretty short, too. Right now I'm waiting for it to begin. I can hear him shuffling around and talking to himself in his crib. :)

Yeah, we're not exactly putting ourselves to sleep yet. Which I am okay with. I still have to swaddle, rock, and feed her into oblivion. But it's good time together. :)

I wonder. I'm sure the rain sounds help, but the darkness REALLY helps.

I need some black-out shades or something. Our house gets some good sun. Which I love. It's just not great for naps.

black out curtains are the best! That's what we have in our bedroom and it totally works wonders. And they were cheap, like... twenty bucks at walmart... altho with the US dollar not fairing so well against the loonie... it might cost ya a lil more ;)

Yay! And it just got sunny in New Haven about 30 minutes ago, so perhaps you'll even see some sunlight before the day is through- like, sunlight at a good time to keep the punk up so she'll sleep this evening.
