Blast from the past
Jul. 26th, 2009 08:11 pmWe went to the Roger Williams Park Zoo today. I have gone to that zoo countless times in my life, most before I was 12 years old. It has changed quite a bit, but there are still some good old blasts from the past. It is still such a big and beautiful zoo, so much better than anything we have around here.
There's this bronze dog statue outside one of the gift shops. I must have sat on that dog for photo ops 100 times in my childhood, and if I dig through the house, I can probably find one. I sat my kid on the dog and holy crap, it was weird!
