Did you know that posting something that is critical of Obama makes you a racist? And that all "white lesbians" vote for Clinton?

It's amazing what you learn in anonymous comments sometimes. It's amazing to see the psychic vote-predicting powers of anonymous folks. It's amazing what I can learn about myself! I never knew I was a white lesbian.

too bad hillary couldn't pull it off here, though. our entire caucus site was nothing but college students (appropos given my job), but rebecca and i, in the company of two other students and a few of my co-workers were the only clinton supporters in the space (at least judging by the obama stickers on everyone else).

while i think that there are definitely racist motives among SOME people in their voting choices, i'm getting damn sick of people summing up all people that vote for either candidate so ridiculously.

Oh absolutely! There are definitely people out there, I do not doubt it for a second, who would never vote for a person of color to any elected office, let alone president. In fact, my father would have been one of them for sure, sadly. *sigh*

Did you know I'm racist because I call myself a beaner? And that I'm totally uninformed because I have had my daughter vaccinated? I love anonymous commenters. They're so easy to laugh at. (I am not too concerned about whether or not people vaccinate their children, although the people who leave me irate anonymous comments don't come across as concerned with sounding coherent.)

My mother who is not white or a lesbian refused to vote for Obama - and if given the choice between Obama and Clinton she would vote for Clinton and given the choice between Obama and McCain - she would vote for McCain. I know this because she was yelling it into my ear while I was driving.

My mother is a little deaf. And she obviously has no problem letting the world know her opinions;)

it could be worse...my aunt once had an email from someone who did not like something she wrote in an academic journal. their comment to her (after seeing her picture long hair, hippie looking) was: "i can see from your picture that you loathe the constitution..." the email went on to babble almost incoherently.
my reply would have been, "i can tell by your grammer that you loathe education"
