We did make it to Pride briefly before Exhausted Baby Meltdown Time:



And then we went to the CT Children's Museum to meet my friend today, too!



Yay!

But tomorrow I have to take Punk BACK to the pediatrician because it would seem that she is having an allergic reaction (rash) to the second antibiotic (augmentin). However, she has no fever and no sickies, so there is that!

A rash...oh no...Morgan broke out in hives while she was on augmenton and now they say she is allergic to amoxicilian because of it. I can only imagine it will be a pain in the butt for her when she is older.

Yeah, it sucks because she took the plain amoxicillan no problem for 5 days, then they switched to augmentin and it's rash city. I am PCN-allergic and it is a PITA, so I was hoping to avoid it with Punk.

Just fwiw, there can be a "side effect rash" with amox and augmentin that is different than an "allergic reaction rash." I have a rash with amoxicillin, but I've been told on good authority to it that I'm not allergic to it as I had an IM shot of penicillin and didn't die. Lillian has an amox rash too.

Yeah, I was reading about that. Unfortunately this seems like the real deal.

I had a Penicillin allergy as a kid but I recently had a drug that is vaguely in the PCN family (Ceftin) and I was fine. So you never know, right?

It's just because this is a crazy college town (there are like 10 colleges in the area or something) and they have to do the Pride thing before all of the transient kids leave. :)
