Mama poo

I'm on this online board that was originally for mamas of July '07 babies but now has expanded and is mostly summer '07 babies with some outliers. Well, today someone posted a video of her baby walking. Her baby was born on October 18th.

I try not to harp on the whole "Punk is not walking" thing but umm, this baby is 3.5 months YOUNGER than mine. Yes, she's an early walker, and yes, Punk is still not "abnormal" yet (next month, baby, next month!), but it still makes me feel like a great big pile of mama poo.

Time for bed.

Maylie was a few days shy of 14 months old when she started walking (she was afraid of falling and unwilling to let go of anything). While Vivi's been walking since July 4, and all day long I'm pulling her off of the kitchen table, the kitchen counters, the small table (where she gets things off the kitchen counters), climbing on the couches and jumping around on them (I think she's going to fly off and crack her head open).

Goooooood lord, she keeps me on my toes. Maylie was SO MUCH easier. But she's turned into a sassy 5 yr old. Who does walk and talk, despite my fears since everyone else's baby walked and talked before she did.
