Feels a little weird. THe screw partof it is a little big... so it fills up the nostril!
But it's good. I can smoosh nose and it doesn't hurt, so it should be good for sparring.
I had a million kids ask be why I had my nose pierced. For some reason they all thought that you had to KEEP getting it re-pierced. Like daily or something. It was funny talking to 10-year-olds about piercing. They thought it was all cool when I told them about the blood and everything.
=)
And like, chicks talked to be because of it. So, it's good.
Kids and piercings are funny. It's not so bad now, but I remember when I was working in a day care and I had my eyebrow pierced. This was, oh, 1994? 1995? A while ago.
"Why do you have an earring in your eye?" was the number one question. Now it's so commonplace that kids ask about nose piercings and eyebrow piercings and tongue piercings, instead of "an earring in your nose/eyebrow/tongue/whatever." Cute how vocabulary evolves.
I just got a new piercing, and so far, no chicks. What's up with that?
Those were the 5th and 6th holes in the cartilege. I was pretty used to the feeling of the needle through the cartilege - that was the easy part. The sort of owwie part was maneuvering the barbell through the second hole. But to Dave's credit, he lined and angled the holes perfectly. He did a bang-up job.
(Of course, I had a headache all last evening from the one up against my head, but hey, it /looks/ cool!)

Date: 2001-12-09 12:21 am (UTC)I totally was talking to this girl tonight about nose piercings.
And this other girl and I were being catty and talking about everyone, and in the middle, she asks if i had my tongue done. Pretty funny.
Piercings are a great way to get chicks. =)
