That looks SO painful. When I had my cartiledge done it throbbed for weeks. Ugh it was awful. I can't imagine two holes at once. Ow ow ow

Those were the 5th and 6th holes in the cartilege. I was pretty used to the feeling of the needle through the cartilege - that was the easy part. The sort of owwie part was maneuvering the barbell through the second hole. But to Dave's credit, he lined and angled the holes perfectly. He did a bang-up job.

(Of course, I had a headache all last evening from the one up against my head, but hey, it /looks/ cool!)
