To all of the gullible people in the world:

My last post was a funny little joke.
And so was this one.
And so was this one.

We are so effing funny. And you are all so gullible, [livejournal.com profile] columbus.

Sorry to anyone who worried, especially [livejournal.com profile] crena, [livejournal.com profile] pattisimmons, [livejournal.com profile] siercia, [livejournal.com profile] lorac, and [livejournal.com profile] annasetsfire's mom.

Maybe I just don't have a sense of humor, but I don't really think it was that funny.

I try not to laugh at situations where other people are obviously hurting, and certainly don't think that a parody of such is a good excuse for a laugh fest. And I don't particularly like being made a fool of or called 'gullible' because I was set up to believe something.

Having said that, I'm not personally involved in your little joke so it didn't really affect me all that much. I didn't even see it until Jude posted that it was a joke, so I'm not upset in any way, shape, or form.

But I still don't think it was funny.

I see what you're saying.

This is not the first time my sense of humor has been called into questioning, and not the first time I've been told I was "joking too hard."

I don't laugh at situations where people are obviously hurting either. And I don't think anyone was making a "laugh fest" out of being cheated on. I think people were making more of a "laugh fest" at the stereotypical "all she needs is a good deep dickin'" advice.

At least I was. And if you didn't think it was funny, heck, that's cool too.
