judecorp | Why are there so many songs about rainbows?

I went to look at the Leafydale apartment, and that building is really nice. The apartment was nice, too, but the "$520, all utilities paid" schtick was a bit of false advertising. Apparently from October to April you also pay $60/month for heat, which while a utility, is not paid. Well, it is, but it's paid by you. And it's on the third floor. But the building is really nice, inside AND out.

So I think in the morning I'll call about the basement apartment. I forgot to check if my cell phone worked down there, but it worked in Jen's basement, and hers didn't, so maybe I'll be okay. I'd hate to have no service in my house. :(

I went to Rainbow Graduation tonight at Goodale Park. My work (GLBTSS) and the GLBT Alumni Society held a little picnic for all of the Big Gay Graduates. I got a piece of cake, a rainbow tassel, and a free year's membership to the Alumni Society. Brett also gave these artsy glass paperweights to me, Coworker Hope, and Coworker Velma. Yay! Free stuff! I got to see Patience & Erica, Jason-David, Brian, Chana, Rebecca, Will, and some other kidlets. And Chad was there. Hooray!

I won't be working there much longer. Oh no! What will I do without a Big Gay Job? (A job in Boston called me tonight - some youth home is opening a second residential facility for GLBT youth. Sob sob! Want. Job!) I guess I'll have to, you know, explore other avenues.
