I just spent the entirety of my open hours¹ playing football outside.

¹Open hours are 1.5 hour blocks of time when a case manager is scheduled to be available for walk-ins, random concerns, and other miscellany.

Heh...one of our second level groups can go out for smoke breaks and whatnot whenever they want. We'd like to slaughter them all because they are always slacking, and complain about us for god-knows-what-reason.

Meanwhile, ours are all scheduled, and they beat us if we don't stick to it! O.O;;;

Eh, that's life in a call center...they assume everyone has the emotional, mental, and professional maturity of a 12 year old and act accordingly. *sigh* And then of course the management is hundreds of times worse and needs to be thrown off the roof.

I used to get so irked that smokers were allowed to go take breaks whenever they felt like it, but if I needed to get some air or a drink I'd have to wait. I now live with the satisfaction that Verizon oppresses us all equally.

Grr, grr, Verizon. They're our only telephone company vendor that regularly needs issues escalated 4 & 5 levels to get anything fixed! O_o

Playing football on the job? I'm jealous!

I haven't played a serious game of football since I was at University of Cincinnati, playing in the traditional "Student Government vs. News-Record (the student paper)" Veteran's Day grudge-match. That's been 11 years this weekend. *sighs*
