Mom update:

In the course of the weekend, my Mommy has met: kieron, pattisimmons, pattisimmons's mom, scottsimmons, lemur68, chutup, doulamel, osuptygal, 356dreamer, ottercat (with Dana and V-something), mayna, my old boss Jeff, whod81, whod81's mom, wasted_breath, prettyvacantone, and crushinator.

In the course of the weekend, my Mommy has gone to: the Short North Tavern, Cap City Diner, Patti's Pampered Chef Show, Holiday Hop, the Spaghetti Warehouse, El Vaquero, Buca de Beppo, and Sean and Bart's house to watch The Sopranos. (Sheesh! It seems like all we did was eat!) She also watched Good Will Hunting while Jennifer and I did laundry, and fell asleep while Jen and I put up the Christmas Tree.

The Mom and Jen thing seems to be going great. I'm really excited about that. (*phew*) And the whole Date Night with the Moms was great, too! Maybe tomorrow before her flight I can take her somewhere that isn't a restaurant. Heh. Maybe. I have a slacker effect on my Mom. She slept later than she ever has in her life this morning.

Oh, and when I went to feed the cats this morning, I found that Ralph had knocked the tree over. It was all over the kitchen and living room, and the tree and a good chunk of the ornaments are now broken. [sarcasm] Yay. [/sarcasm]

A friend of mine in junior high school had a cat who would eat those tinsel strands. Every so often the cat would walk by with a big strand of silver plastic hanging out of his butt!
