judecorpI feel like I live in a house now. It's weird, because I've never lived in a house, unless you count how I sort of lived at my grandparents' house. They definitely had a house. But I grew up in an apartment. And then I lived in countless dorms and apartments. Never a house. And I still live in an apartment, but it FEELS like a house. Why?
Well, it has two floors, and you have to go up and down stairs. That is houselike to me. And it has more than one bathroom. And a washer and dryer. And I bet the electric bill will be high like a house. And last night, we had a little dinner party, or, as I'd like to call it, "Deconstructing Brandie." Poor Brandie. (I'm sorry!) My Jennifer made a delicious dinner for us, and she invited Steve and Jennie, and I invited Brandie. Fun times! We stayed up drinking cheapass wine (and a bottle of yellow vinegar that Steve got at the packy up the street), beer, and margaritas. Mmm. And everyone psychoanalyzed my poor Brandie Naked. Then I kicked everyone out to get naked myself.
So yeah, aside from living in a house, the theme for this morning is WATER. I got up, did all of the dishes from the dinner party, cleaned the kitchen counters, took a shower, and am now doing laundry. Yeah, that's me, the housewife. Rowr! Later I am taking my beloved to get a root canal (boo) and then it's UNEMPLOYED ALCOHOLIC NIGHT! I am trying to convince Hot Former Security Guard Krusty to come, too. Who's in?
Yeah, this is the life I lead. It rocks! Jealous, much?
p.s. Last night,
Emmy called me from the Ani concert in the City. She left "Evolve" on my voicemail, and when I called back, she left the phone on so I could listen. Yay! Emmy rocks!
