It's actually fantastically complicated because the breakup came about not because of us per se, but because he's so overwhelmed and unhappy with everything else crowding in on his life right now. So I'm an enormous puddle of ripped up sad, but also sense he's the one in greater need right now, and want to be able to support him through what's a horribly difficult moment. How honor both impulses? That's a tricky one.
I wish you the best. It sounds like a really complicated and emotional situation, but you are an amazing gal and I'm sure you will pull through with flying colors!
