Baby 911

I am so full of emotion I don't know what to do. Do I squee? Do I bounce?

My Jennifer went to the doctor this morning for her annual physical, and while she was there, she had an actual conversation with our doctor about what steps she should take to prepare to have a baby in the next year or two. And while the baby-making isn't in our original timeline, I am so touched and excited that she actually spoke to the doctor about it, starting a productive dialogue, and put words to our mostly unspoken plans. I'm so proud of her for asking all of those questions and taking steps to get herself in a place where she feels she is ready for such endeavors. Wow.

Of course, finding this out has done nothing to quell my baby fever. Now I'm all "OMGZERS, I should take all this Metformin so maybe I can pop out a baby, too!" What the heck is up with that? I am officially losing my mind.

GIVE ME BABY.

It will be nice and doofey and rosey and Auntie will knit it some red booties and buy it one of ,a href="http://www.fisher-price.com/us/products/product.asp?id=199">those Fisher-Price popper things because every kid needs that.

And the bubble mower too. Key toys.

Dude, the corn popper and the bubble mower are SO requirements!

So many cool toys are getting replaced these days. Remember the old school Fisher Price rotary phone with smiley face? The cash register with the plastic coin money? GONE.

We have the wooden bench that you pound pegs through at work. We have lots of old school toys because we're po' and we take a lot of old donated toys. I should filch them for my own kids!!
