It's kind of funny, because when it happened, I was almost totally not surprised. Like, "Oh, of course this is what happens." I mean, the guy was nice and all, and I took his name and number but doubt it's even worth trying to do anything about it. Cars get scratched all the time... but it's my NEW CAR!!! (My first and probably last ever NEW car.)

Naw, it wasn't at all like that. I was completely stopped (had rolled forward a little) and dude behind me must have thought I went and he went forward... right into me. He couldn't have been going more than 5-7mph. It was like a bumper-car feeling.

Yeah, kind of. But I came home and there are CATS and a hot girl cooking me dinner, so it's not all bad.

I kind of want to look at the car in the morning to see if it's scratched, but kind of don't because I don't even think I would get it fixed anyway if it was, you know? It was a 5mph kind of thing (I was stopped, he got started) and I think a body shop would laugh me out of town.

It was the kind of night I wish I'd looked MORE pregnant so people would feel bad for me. I just want someone to feel bad for me, dangit!!

I read some old entries of yours...I saw you like StarDust. I LOVE STARDUST!!!! I've got the entire series and I also have a autographed copy of Death, which Neil Gaiman wrote along with others and has an intro by Tori Amos. It's kind of dark, but not bad...plus did I mention he signed it??? =)

I love Stardust, too. I don't like the graphic novels (I'm not a graphic novel fan) but I like the STORY of Stardust so I have a novel version of it (no graphics). A friend of mine actually got in autographed for me, and Neil drew a cute little picture in it for yours truly. :)

About your prior posts...about general life suckage, let me also extend my ear, as you did for me this week. We should get together and have a big complain fest and then eat pumpkin, or squash pie! For real though, if you ever want to talk, yell, cry....I can't imagine how hard it's been to: move, buy your first house, find a new job, be pregnant, miscarry one of the twins, did I mention being pregant? And whatever else may be going on. You are wadding through a lot right now, so give yourself some credit for being as strong as you are. And call me if you want to.

I just want to have a stress-free day (or two, or three) for once. Maybe Saturday will be that day, although we have to go shopping for a gift for someone (which means the mall AAAAAH!) so maybe that won't be the day.

I would be okay with a scratch or two. We cleaned the salt off the back of the car and looked at it in daylight and there's actually a lot more scratches and dents in the bumper than I thought, because the guy had a crash bar on the front of his SUV. *sigh* Now I need to call him tonight and tell him there's more damage than we thought and see if he wants to come look at the car, and see if he'll pay, etc.
