Jen and I talked and decided to use some of our "economic stimulus" money to become member-owners in our new local co-op market. It is important to me to support a fair market and as much local food as possible. I am excited about this. I didn't think it would be possible to be member-owners because it requires a chunk of change upfront, but we decided not to replace the kitchen floor and now there is some money to play with. Hooray!
I am also hoping to get into the backyard and spread the wildflower seeds we got a while back, provided I can find the dirt-churner-thinger and the hose.
Yay.
