It's a Girl!

Well, it's officially official. Two ultrasounds a month apart and not a stick-out bit in sight. (Sorry, guys!) The tech said that if she said she wasn't sure then, she was pretty much sure now. Other than that, the heart and spine (the two things they "couldn't see well" at the last scan) looked perfectly fine, and for the first time, I got a follow-up appointment /without/ an ultrasound. (Amazing.)

So without further ado, my Jennifer and I would like to introduce teh internets to our little daughter, August Ruth!

Eff the USPS

I got home from work tonight and was So! Excited! to see a big box on my front steps. I think I even exclaimed aloud, "My package!" It was even wrapped in a plastic bag so it wouldn't get snowy. I was so relieved to know that thatpatti's stuff didn't get lost and everything was going to be okay. So I ran up to the front steps and opened the door, and dragged the big box into the house...

...and it was from laserkitty. HER maternity clothes, also shipped parcel post but quite a bit (over a week) later, have graced my front porch.

Thanks, Nikki! But I'm sorry, Patti! I will call the post office AGAIN. Argh! Stupid postal service.
