judecorp: (keep going)

1. We've chosen a new sperm bank (Xytex) and our top three donors. I need to call them tomorrow morning and see if it's possible to get all of the paperwork done (by the doctor) and sperm ordered and delivered before my next IUI. Which could be soon. So it's very possible that we missed the boat on switching this month, and I /really/ hope that's not the case. I just couldn't nail Jen down to go over stuff.

2. The new sperm bank guarantees 30 million motile sperm per ml. That is SO much better than the 6mil/60% we've been getting from our current dude.

3. I got my new tshirt that I ordered for Pride on Saturday. It's this one, with red. It's fun! I love modeling Stacy's tshirts!

4. I got home from the grandparents' and went on a whirlwind housecleaning spree. With Jen being sick, there was just... stuff... all over the house. Now it's all gone, the last of the laundry is in the dryer, the dishwasher has been run, and we're ready to start another work week. Jen is home sick tomorrow and Tuesday so hopefully it won't get trashed again.

5. Tomorrow - long day. 8:30am ultrasound and blood work. 9-12 training. 1-3 assessment. 3-5 assessment. 6:30 book club meeting.

6. Book Club read The Curious Incident of the Dog In the Night Time. Has anyone read it? What did you think?

I read it last week. I enjoyed it very much, but it *is* short. I finished it in 2 hours. Definately worth at least that much of your time and it really is eye-opening. Let me know what you thought when you finish because I'm very curious.

I read it several weeks ago - actually the weekend I took Jen to the cape for the weekend for our anniversary and it poured the whole time. It WAS a quick read. I almost never finish a book in one weekend.

I found the book incredibly believable, except for some of the big dramallama at the end. But the descriptions of autism spectrum disorder seemed pretty spot-on. I liked it. I thought the part about going into London was kind of out of my realm of believability, however.

What else did you think?

I haven't read it, but I keep picking it up at work and scanning it. I've heard only good things about it, and I want to read it. We actually talked about it in my adolescent lit class. There's another book similar to it called Stuck in Neutral that I read that was really good.

You should definitely read it. Then we can go camping and talk about it! :)

"curious incident" is one of my most favorite recently-read books (within the last 3 years).
