Autumn is in the air!

Deciding to put the flannel sheets on the bed last night was one of the best things that Jen and I have done in a while. So cozy, had to go to bed right away. Nice.

It is quite cold in the house but I refuse to put the heat on. I am just not ready for cold weather and heating bills! *stomp stomp* I've heard it might be 70 degrees or so next week, so I'm holding out for that. At least that's what I'm telling myself.

Survivor grrrr

We used to be big Stephenie fans in our house, but today she busted out the forbidden "that's so gay" to describe another player's stupid behavior and that's it - she's out of our fan club.

Sayonara, Stephenie. You and your homophobic whininess can leave Guatemala at any time. We'll start rooting for Amy instead.

A slight slight

Okay, this probably makes me a whiny beeyotch but it kind of ticks me off that Jen's brother/sister-in-law (hence, my BIL and SIL) sent her a birthday card and not me.

It's not even like it's all about how we've been together for years now, and we're married, and my family sends her birthday cards, and all of that polite stuff. I don't feel all unaccepted or something because they can't remember my birthday.

It's that we have the SAME FREAKING BIRTHDAY so it doesn't take any brainpower at all to remember. None. Nada. Zilch. It's easy.

An imaginary conversation:
BIL - Oh! It's Jen's birthday on Monday.
SIL - That means it's Jude's birthday, too.

HOW FREAKING HARD IS THAT??!?!
